The line was very long waiting to get into the Cape Girardeau rally. It snaked around several times in the Show Me Center’s parking lot. Some had been waiting for 12 hours by the time we arrived. After waiting in a cold rain for about an hour or so, the doors opened and the line dissolved. People just started moving towards the doors. It wasn’t scary or a mad dash. As it happened our loop of the ‘snake’ happened to be closer to the entrance and we got in before many who had spent the day in line.
