Monday on MSNBC’s “All In,” former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean said Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is brilliantly using “strategic patience,” to let the momentum build toward the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Dean said, “I’m one of the few people who was actually around when Nixon was impeached. This is exactly what happened. They were very careful. They were very deliberate. They didn’t go beyond the facts that were known, and the groundswell grew.”

Pelosi is playing the good cop in the impeachment scam. In the end, she will say that based on the new evidence from the House investigations, she reluctantly supports impeachment.
David Schippers was asked by his friend, Congressman Henry Hyde, to be Chief Investigative Counsel for the US House Judiciary Committee. Schippers, a lifelong Democrat, accepted and took the job in April 1998. The Hyde Committee was holding an inquiry on whether Clinton had committed impeachable offences in his handling of the Paula Jones sexual harassment suit..... during which Clinton committed perjury regarding his affair with Monica Lewinsky. The committee in December 1998 voted to impeach Clinton........a decision supported by Schippers.
On December 10, 1998, Schippers said to the committee:
“The President, then,

<><> he lied under oath in a criminal grand jury.
<><> he lied to the people,
<><> he lied to his Cabinet,
<><> he lied to his top aides,
“And now he’s lied under oath to the Congress of the United States.There’s no one left to lie to.”
Upon the passage of H. Res. 611, Clinton was impeached on December 19, 1998, by the House of Representatives on grounds of perjury to a grand jury (by a 228–206 vote) and obstruction of justice (by a 221–212 vote).
The Senate voted not to remove the impeached president.

The essential problem for the Democrats remains what it was the instant the Muller Report was released: they must convince the American people that it was wrong for the president to protest being framed for a crime he did not commit.
They must convince the American people that it was the President's duty, indeed his only moral choice, to remain passive in the face of the criminalization of the American justice system of which he was the Chief Law Enforcement Officer.
They must convince the American people that Trump is guilty even though he did what virtually every one of us in his shoes would have done to protect ourselves.
They must convince the American people that Trump should be impeached for obstructing his own exoneration.

I was bemused more than alarmed that Democrats recently had been chewing on the collusion bone in the recent hearings conducted by Chairman Adam Schiff and wherever else they could get a microphone. Why would the Democrats continue to make fools of themselves? Now I am more focused if not actually alarmed.
Now this development:
Recently, Democrats have been touting a poll purporting to show an increase in the percentage of Americans who now believe the Donald Trump colluded with Russia. The purported total, 50%. And unbelievable figure that could only be made true in the Orwellian world of the American media.
The Democrats want to impeach a president who obstructed justice not one who "obstructed" his own exoneration..
It's hard to sell obstruction without collusion, now it appears that they will persist in the collusion delusion until the myth becomes the reality or at least plausible enough to snap the jaws of impeachment around.

In Nazi,Soviet,North Korea and other barbaric regimes,this is the catch all for putting innocent people away. If one obstructs he/she must be guilty and there is never any end to "laws" that fit the "crime". The left is also using the propaganda media machine to shape the people into believing a crime was committed.
