So, does this mean that NY drivers licenses won’t be accepted by the TSA for boarding?

What if we ALL went south across the border, and demanded free school, free health insurance, free housing, free driver’s licenses, free free free everything- Spose we’d get them?

Could a federal subpoena of the illegal alien drivers license registration database be used for deportations?

There is such an easy solution to this mess, as there is to so many of the issues that the Left conjures up.

States issue driver’s licenses, right? Driver’s licenses are not a federal thing, so if you’re from Georgia and you drive in NY, it’s ok, right? Well, that is because all the states have reciprocity agreements on everything from a driver’s license, barbers license, law license, pistol permits, you name it. Most of the time this is probably more of an administrative thing with just some paperwork. If it has to be codified, all the law makers in the state legislature will be briefed, they all vote YES, signed by the Governor and that’s it. No fan fare.

Sometimes, as with concealed carry permits, the states don’t agree for various reasons. Most of the time, except for the really strict states, it’s because the requirements to get a CCW in one state may not be deemed as strict in another state. Example, for years Georgia didn’t have reciprocity with South Carolina. SC requires a class and shooting test for a CCW. Georgia does not. Fortunately, the two came to terms a few years ago and all is good.

Soooo....back to my point. Have all the Southern and Midwestern States cancel all the reciprocity agreements regarding driver’s licenses with NY and other states that grant illegals a license. Ok, so a person from Georgia, like me for example, won’t be able to drive if I visit my family in NY. And they won’t be able to drive in Georgia if they visit me. And? There aren’t a whole lot of folks from Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, etc, moving to NY or NJ. The same can’t be said for the folks from those hell holes. They’re moving South and West as fast as they can and destroying all in their path. How about the states make it an outright pain in the ass for them, wherever they go? Can you imagine selling your house on Long Island, headed to Atlanta and having to ship your car and take Uber to everywhere until you can take a driver’s ed class with some 15 yr olds and pass a road test? Clowns like Cuomo and his ilk are making life hard on people to satisfy their socialist/communist dreams, why not make it hard on him and his pals?

They just made them voters...

The drivers license is ID for all sorts of things. Its the de facto symbol that you belong here.

Is NY an “Uninsured Motorist” State? I would suspect rates will skyrocket.

Really, really, need to implement The List for proper immigration enforcement - The list goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population)
7) demonstrate English proficiency to acquire citizenship and pass civics test.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport.

Also consider reciprocation of the laws of the countries of origin of the illegal aliens. For example, Mexico doesn’t allow land ownership or voting to immigrants, and doesn’t honor birthright citizenship like its citizens expect from the U.S. We should offer the same deal to them.

I don’t expect that someone in Homeland Security ever thought of buying motor-voter and other driver’s license lists from states that do what NYC did and run BIs and crosschecks. They’d have to buy the data through a marketing company. Once they ran the data, they’d have their deportation lists.

Why can’t the President impose a New Regulation regarding Alien Sponsorship? Say:
Any Political Entity that provides any benefit to a Foreign National without legal authorization to be present in the United States, Shall be Held as their Legal Sponsor and Shall be 100% Liable for any Loss or Injury to a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.

Does anyone truly believe that ILLEGAL ALIENS will buy car insurance? Just think of the impending car insurance price explosion! Expect the premiums to go up a minimum of 10 times. Gotta feel sorry for people who have to drive in New York state.
