We’ll offer free tacos. Nobody can resist a free taco.
There is no way to forcibly move millions of people south
really?
Don’t need for forcibly remove millions. They voluntary came north, and now we just need to change the incentive structure so that they voluntary return south.
“There is no way to forcibly move millions of people south “
Sure there is. In fact there are many ways. It doesn’t all have to be accomplished by a knock on the door from an ICE agent. It could be that, combined with other incentives to get illegals to self deport. I don’t know what Trump’s planning, but my guess is that will take place on many fronts. Probably a combination of physical removal along with taking away benefits.
he answer, of course, is to provide an incentive for them to start walking.
Yes there is, we just don't have the stomach for it.
Tell that to Eisenhower.
Well, let’s see. This time of year, there are a LOT of school buses sitting around. In many cases, private companies contract with the schools for bus service. National Guard resources (at least from cooperating states) could also be called into play. So, transport vehicles and even security for them are not a problem.
That only addresses the illegals from the south, however. Visa overstays from countries like China are a significant % of the problem, too. Still, “as fast as they come in” from and via Mexico alone would be a good start, and transport for them is presently available.
However, where is the manpower to round up that many illegals?
Going after employers of illegals would be more effective.
Granted that there’s nothing wrong with a stepped up multi-pronged effort, with lots of publicity. But, a Wall still needs to be part of that. It would help reduce the flow of illegal drugs, too.
Well, George Soros and whoever it is that's helping him did a pretty good job moving them north... We just need to come up with the proper....incentive.. :)
THey won’t be removed all en masse.
One busload at a time will work. Plus, with other clampdowns already happening (no HUD/public housing, no welfare) and seeing seeing other illegals removed, others will self-deport and far fewer will be coming in.
Forcibly? More ICE personnel, zip cuffs, buses. I don’t see the problem.
