Good description of the neocons who talked George Bush into invading Iraq. By 5 years into his administration, he realized what a disastrous mistake he’d made, and refused their proposal for actIi, bombing Iran. He was so mad at them he even refused to pardon Scooter Libby. But it was all too late; he’d already ruined his presidency and his reputation, and no (or next to no)Republican candidate since has asked W to campaign for them. How different from Reagan, who had god-like status with Republicans till the end of his life and still today. But Reagan didn’t invade countries - and even pulled out of Lebanon instead of getting bogged down in war. Reagan was smart. Bush was dumb. I hope Trump has drawn the proper conclusion
