Too bad, but that should disqualify him from becoming president.

Checking another “special box”.

Excellent! Compared to the life of Donald Trump, all the Motley Crew are mere NOBODIES.

It sickens me how Buttplug shamelessly exploits his military service.

He must be having second thoughts and wants to be disqualified. Otherwise, why bring it up if there is no medical documentation?

Depression? He was deployed as a REMF Officer for 7 months.

Shut up, poser.

Depression is common in his demographic and its not from PTSD.

I've spoken with a couple people who work with gays (Dems both, I'm pretty sure) and they observe that gays as a group are the most miserable folks you will ever meet.

When we lived in California, we had gays as next door and across the street neighbors. We got along fine, although I did not observe them as at all happy or fulfilled.

So, is he trying to get my sympathy? Or does he think this makes him look like a “real” officer? Or does it scare me into thinking he does not have the mental strength to make this work?

Trick question. I would never, ever vote for this small town Mayor. My parents old town has members of their school board more qualified.

[ He missed his Afghan tent boy.

Replaced by a South Bent rent boy ]

And constantly pushed and pimped by Drudge. Just like Comrade Bernie.

Yes, he does get to select which stories to promote.

Aw, pobrecito! Read a few citations for bravery of our service men and women in past conflicts to put little Butt-Gagg in proper perspective...

I don’t think the article is legit. The real Buttgig would have worked gay sex into the depression angle.

It worked for my former congress critter Conor Lamb. Eight months as a JAG officer in resort Okinawa gave him equivalent experience to a guy who served two tours of duty in a combat zone in Iraq if you bought into the media narrative.

I'll tell you what he didn't do.
He didn't drive a ship.
He didn't fly a plane.
He didn't parachute or swim.
He's wasn't a Naval Officer, he was a punk and he remains a punk.
A pogue, a fobbit, a REMF.

Here's my observation. He did not go into the Navy out of college. He graduated from Harvard in 2004. Then, from Wikipedia, "From 2004 to 2005 Buttigieg worked in Washington, D.C., as conference director for former secretary of defense William Cohen's strategic consulting firm." That's it. Someone there told him military service would look good on his resume and strings were pulled to get him a commission and a cushy billet in the Naval Reserve. An "armed driver?" really? That's what guys whose paygrade starts with E do.

Apparently you’ve never been in the military. He was a sailor.
