Federal officers exchanged gunfire with an active shooting suspect Monday morning outside the federal courthouse in downtown Dallas.
The suspect is in custody and was taken to the hospital, police said.

So, it’s a white guy in cammo. Awaiting CNN to declare him a military vet, long wolf, Christian, conservative and Trump supporter. Unfortunately, they might finally be right this time on some points.

Photo shows a balaclava-wearing guy dressed like a SWAT guy, including chest plates. Police detonated a suspicious package in his car. The reporter said “it shook nearby trees”, but no confirmation it was a bomb. However, cops are searching the area anyway.
Wonder how long it will take to deactivate him?
Given reporters tendency to sensationalize everything, I take "nearby trees" to mean those directly overhanging the car.

“The shooter, Brian Isaack Clyde, 22, died at the scene..”
Hopefully, this active shooter was deactivated before he hurt anyone.

“The shooter had a red heart tattoo with a black drawing inside, possibly of an animal, on his left arm.”
Best way to handle this type of attack. Although likely not a deterrent to others, it sure as hell is to this arsehole.
There are an average of 3 mass shootings per day the fake news will not touch...

Heavy.com (https://heavy.com/news/2019/06/brian-clyde/) says that Clyde’s cover photo on Facebook shows Confederate uniforms. Photo is shown. Unless they are supposed to be uniforms from the first six months or so of the war, they look union blue to me. That alone doesn’t confirm union army, but...you re-enactors please pitch in.
