No, I meant in the general election. I vote for a candidate whose promises I don’t believe, rather than one whose promises I do believe.

In general, I believe the Democrat candidate is a lockstep Marxist who will do everything possible to damage the economy and move society in a direction of which I disapprove ... just as he/she promises in the campaign.

I do not believe the Republican candidate will do whatever he is announcing. (For example, if I had believed in the border wall, I’d be disappointed in our current administration. Since I didn’t believe it, I’m not.)

I vote for the Republican because there’s a chance that he’ll do something I like. With the Democrat, there’s no chance.
