This discussion was brilliant...in light of frequent personnel departures, buyouts, and failures on the Blogging Left, how come so many people like Rush Limbaugh, Dan Bongino, and the three of them can make a profitable business out of conveying a conservative message while the Left cannot do it without the aid of wealthy benefactors, government grants, or by legally attacking them to silence them?

These three guys all nail it, and it boils down to conservatives being aligned intellectually with their business and core beliefs. The Leftist dogma forces them to attack the very elements of a business that are necessary for...uh...a "business"!

This is well worth the view. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, here are a few links to key parts:

That is a very witty and table-turning way of looking at things. I give him all the credit in the world for thinking about this. I without a doubt believe Rush Limbaugh will probably cover this on Monday.

Yeah but who controls the social media platforms?

Whittle, we know that conservatism and freedom sells; but if you don't own the means to distribute it, via Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube, then it doesn't mean nothing. YouTube itself could have censored your video, like they did to Crowder.

Conservatives really need to get together and start forming alternatives to the leftist-controlled social media giants or they're going to lose.

The progressive ideology is counter productive to growth. That is why progressive cities are full of homeless.

One of the problems for conservatives, good for the liberals, with the using of liberal news is that there is enough of it constructed to go around for everyone they create. The people that use liberal news choose to as it “sells papers” to the greedy, uneducated, and the lost looking for something to hang on to, souls. It promises the moon and doesn’t give you anything but a piece of survival. But that’s more than a large majority of their followers had, so what do they have to lose.

The problem with conservatives is they don’t call the liberals on this tactic and let them get away with it. The only thing liberals can get you is survival, maybe. The only thing conservatives can get you is the opportunity to create your own survival. One constitutes work, the other grovelling. Grovelling is easier. Grovelling is votes. Which one treats the people with dignity? That is never brought up.

The progressive media is redundant. MSNBC, CNN, NYT, WaPo and the rest of the liberal media complex already fill their niche. MarketWatch and CNBC consistently hammer Trump while proposing socialism. The progressive media isn’t dying - it’s being co-opted by more established and better-financed liberal media. Is there a single subject on which the NYT holds a different opinion from Vox?
