WASHINGTON, June 14 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump has four leading candidates under consideration to replace outgoing White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, a Trump confidant said on Friday.
The four are deputy White House press secretary Hogan Gidley, Stephanie Grisham, who is first lady Melania Trump's communications director, former State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert and outgoing Treasury Department spokesman Tony Sayegh, the source said on condition of anonymity.

Sarah Sanders has been the best at that job maybe ever. I wish she would kick Jim Acosta in the nuts on the way out. Literally. I don’t think we can expect her replacement to be as good as she was. We can only hope.
I think she’s done a pretty good job. It’s a tough job under the best of circumstances. When the media hates you, it’s a job you wouldn’t wish on anyone.

I guess that I wonder IF Sarah Sanders should be replaced at all, inasmuch as there is no longer a “daily press briefing” & the majority of current reporters in the WH pool are anything but “gathers of news’; instead they are DIMocRATS Party operatives.
Btw, I keep hearing that Ms. Sanders is going to return to Arkansas to run for governor. Anyone know whether she is or not??

I think Tyrus would be a great choice. It would be really fun if they said the appointment would be revealed and if nothing else have Tyrus come out to the podium, pause and then introduce the new press sec. the press would have a heart attack.
