Glad he’s noticed! I don’t think we need another “disloyal, weak-kneed jerk” for Sec Def. The thing that keeps disturbing me is the ongoing selection of “substandard human waste” for key Administration positions. Why can’t the President find a completely loyal, competent person to fill these important positions? The idea that anyone in the DoD or the Navy would have uttered a word, publicly about the issue with the McCain pi$$es me off completely! And they do it repeatedly, because they are almost completely certain that there will be no retribution for doing so.
I believe the simple answer to the question is that any nominee with the qualifications to pass congressional muster during the nomination process is already part of the swamp. You cannot drain with swamp by keeping the swamp full.
