The way it was presented is strong evidence that this was orchestrated by the Saudis and CIA.
To not make those your top suspects, to instead pretend that there is equal chance that Iran would deliberately provide a causus belli for no gain whatsoever, makes you a fool. And not just a fool, a willingly gullible fool.

And again, this is as the Russia collusion hoax is being exposed in its full glory, hard solid incontrovertible evidence of anti-American elements embedded throughout our own government and especially at CIA and State - the source of this tanker hoax.
That there is a single person here who seriously thinks Iran is responsible is incredibly disappointing and demoralizing. A people who fooled that easily cannot possibly be free, being so easily manipulated.
