No. If my daughter were forced to participate in this, the teacher would end up strangled at the neck with a condom, or as many as it would take to do the job, and left at the entrance of the school.
I personally know, or know of, many home-schooled students, and some of the current parents I know, 20-30 years of age, were themselves home schooled.
When I returned to school to study music at a community college more than ten years ago, I found multiple home-schooled students in every single class. (These were their first public classes.)
They were also usually the best students and best musicians.
