The Koch Brothers are teaming up with tech companies, universities and other fellow billionaires to combat online extremism.
On July 17, the After Charlottesville Project will host its second summit in San Francisco, California. Founded in the aftermath of the deadly 2017 white supremacist attacks in Virginia, the conference brings together political and business leaders to discuss solutions for curbing political terrorism. While last year’s gathering in Missouri involved grassroots and city response initiatives, the focus of this year’s summit will involve the “private tech sector” and “best practices on the fight against hate and extremism online,” according to the event’s press release.
Representatives for the Charles Koch Institute and the Anti-Defamation League will join executives from tech companies which currently include Eventbrite, Mozilla, Pinterest, Patreon and Airbnb.
“Now more than ever is the time to create communities that value diversity, inclusivity and positive change,” Michael Signer, the former mayor of Charlottesville, Virginia and the founder and chair of the Communities Overcoming Extremism Project, said in a statement. “We’re excited to assemble with these forward-thinking tech leaders to explore what positive outcomes we can gain from an event full of powerful conversations.”

Also, Congressman Louie Gohmert said he saw video footage of Antifa types and the so-called “white nationalists” getting off the SAME bus.

It was one death in Charlottesville and Professor Dixon has still been bragging this year about how he chased Fields into the crowd which resulted in the one death.
They should give Fields a new trial because if anything he should have been charged with manslaughter not first degree murder.
Likely the verdict would have gone differently if Fields had been black being chased by an insane Antifa white professor with a rifle.

I'm glad we are winning to the point it's exposing these things. It's a good sign of desperation on their part but we still have a ways to go. I do feel good about the progress being made.

The article states “white supremacists attacks” plural attacks by white supremacists— who were a) not in the majority and b) did not attack anyone. The Antifa was there in force and did throw rocks, hit with batons, and sprayed bear spray at the protestors against the removal of monuments to Confederate leaders. Those are the facts, as is the false flag operation run by a former Occupy Wall Street liberal turned overnight white supremacist “leader”— and who has been “outed” as an outright fraud.
So, the people who came to protest were Heritage people— Sons of Confederate Veterans, members of families that go way back in VA history. And the result— “piss on them”. Another item thrown- open bottles of piss, and socks filled with excrement- human and otherwise.
The only “attack” per se was an oddball guy in a Dodge Charger from waaaaaaay up North somewhere— who went down a side alley/road and was acosted by a crowd who beat on his car with baseball bats. He accelerated to push aside or get the crowd to part and hit another car, near which was a female who reacted (she was not “hit” but rather the car she was near was rapidly thrown into her-— and she had a heart attack (coroners inquest) and died. A heart attack from the stress of the event— not an injury from the car. Nevertheless the individual was charged with vehicular murder/manslaughter and convicted I believe.
The mayor of C’Ville— former one... a jewish activist and his obama-ite council members created this events needless ramping up of emotion— they are the ones who want every bit of VA history— erased— especially white history.
Yep. The Kochs are what the Enemedia uses as a foil, a substitute for real conservatives, so that they can ignore out of existence any genuinely conservative stance on key issues. I never believed them to be conservative.
