I agree with you, too bad so much of FR doesn’t. The military is still feeling the ripple-effect of sequestration today. The vast majority of FR was dancing in the streets when vital military support was put on furlough for 2 months and the budget was gutted.

I never thought I would think highly of Jon Stewart. He was the smarminest, wrongest, most obnoxious comedian and I tried to avoid him at all costs.

I’ve changed my mind after hearing him speak to congress for the first responders. I think highly of him at least for this.

I’m not for socialized medicine. I’m for full payment of medical care for these first responders and our military as part of their service to us.
