That is the same thinking that made us support Stalin in WWII and it lead to 50 years of wars and suffering.
We did not support Stalin except that our enemy’s enemy is our friend in tough times.
If Russia were not fighting Germany our losses and possibly the final outcome of the war would have been far different.
