Yep. Anyone who dismisses this is a fool. The fact that we came close to losing the senate seat in Texas last year (and Cruz is not a terrible, scandal laden candidate) and the fact Georgia was so close ought to wake some people up.

I find that so many people in this site suffer from herd mentality. They assume that because they think a certain way and the people around them are that way-that this is the way most people are. Well-look at the elections and look at the fact our bought and paid for (by the chamber of commerce) GOP has done nothing to address voter fraud and it ought to frighten everyone. Look at the fact that only 28% of the kids in Texas public schools are white. Look at how non-whites vote and extrapolate those 38 electoral votes.

Julian Castro..the hispanic former Mayor that can’t speak Spanish, isn’t he?

The Hispanic vote in Texas will continue to increase. By 2024 Democrats can win Texas, Arizona and Florida. A big blue wall of 78 electoral votes....Twitter - Jan 2018

These politicians think their money and positions will insulate them from all that is on the way. They think they’ll have a security apparatus to protect them. Not so sure about that.

Take Minneapolis and Dearborn. Both elected women that absolutely hate the US and shouldn’t even be in the country. They aren’t going anywhere unless replaced by someone more radical. As for Omar, with the growing somalian population in Minneapolis and white, liberal guilt, you’re looking at a future Senator or Governor of Minnesota. And the arrogant Democratic Machine in that state thinks they can control her. That toothpaste is way out of the tube.
