Ted’s putting out a “I hope I’m wrong” bet on high Democrat turnout in 2020. Interestingly, I think white-hot Trump hate has cooled down to merely red-hot. There may have been some folks who didn’t vote in 2016, figuring Hillary would either win it or successfully steal it. But I think Trump has won enough hearts and minds to secure another term. But we can’t be complacent. We have to work at least as hard and with the same optimism and confidence that we had in 2016.
Cruz was my primary pick in 2016, but he’s low on my list if he decides to try again. The Senator has about as much power as I care to entrust him with.

I certainly hope so- but let’s not forget- obama did enough to LOSE a second term because he did absolutely nothing to help stimulate the economy, lied to us, job loses were at record highs, gas prices were record highs, people were desperate- yet he won a second term- when historically, when gas prices were high, a sitting president would lose a second term-
By all rights- the country was so bad off under obama- that there was no way he shoudla won a second term- he shoudla been kicked to the curb so to speak for failing so badly-
To sum up why he won- I’ll recount what happened when he got elected again:
A reporter asked a woman why she voted for obama for a second term (considering he hadn’t done anything for the nation in the last 4 years)- she got a crap eating grin on her face, and said “So i can git me some of dat obama-money” and when asked where she thought it could come from she got the crap eating grin again, shrugged her shoulders, and said “It’s juss free, dats all”
My heart sunk for America! They are buying the liberal agenda that promises to give everyone ‘free everything’
Even after 2 miserable failed terms of obama, they- the people, will still buy into the lie that they can get free stuff- and like one poster said- dem turnout was low because they thought hillary had it in the bag- The left are gonna pull out all the stops this election I believe- I just hope enough people actually learned their lesson when obama ruined the country, and will continue voting for Trump= Like You, I believe He certainly has done more than enough to warrant another term in the3 minds of many- but again, the draw for ‘free stuff’ promised by the left is powerful for low info voters—
