Greatly reduced due to work requirements... bullsh!+. Anything to avoid giving credit to the Trump requirement. Down 13% in one year ain’t from a 2013 law with work requirements.
I’d like to know what happened to those on welfare who got a job in order to get food stamps. Did they get a job that could support them/family? Did they get a good job or advancement later on?
Did they get off of welfare entirely (other than medical needs)? I have no qualms about helping sick people who can’t financial take care of themselves.
Did they regain their sense of worth because they were working instead of mooching? Did it help their family to stay together?
Lots of unanswered questions here.
