Classic government expansion. Tolls were originally sold as a way to pay for the construction of new roads. Soon the revenues are absorbed by the government’s endless appetite for more money.
The cashless tolls will increase the cost to average folks who don’t have a toll tag, with toll by mail costing a factor of two or three times more than the actual toll that was originally paid in cash.
As technology keeps expanding, we are screwed.
In this case, they are building new roads all over Florida so I think the money is being used properly.
