Nixon’s limited, modified hangout talks damaged him on the tape. You have to wonder what was on the part his secretary tried to record over, but I suspect it’s the skull-duggery that makes politics the sausage factory it is.
The cover-up’s what did it.
And now the Nixon tapes are on the internet and searchable while descendants of President Harding have some of his papers still locked up, until 2023, when they *might* be made available.
Poor Nixon’s online, while Harding isn’t dead enough.
The problem about all of this is many fold; not the least of being that the vast majority of the populace now knows less than NOTHING at all about what REALLY happened back then and most of those who were alive back then ( those who are still alive ), have forgotten what they once knew, never did KNOW the facts, believed the crap lies that were and still ARE being spewed about it all.
Yes, that wiped tape IS what really "got" Nixon.
OTOH...Hilary DESTROYING so VERY much has been fluffed off and what she did, is far, far, far, faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar worse and a million times more criminal!
