What’s puzzling is the question: why don’t those folks who favor living in a socialist country vs a capitalist country just pack up and move to a socialist country?

Americans are not allowed to emigrate. Nobody wants us. I know a guy with genius IQ, spoke German fluently, had a job lined up in Germany, was working on a temporary visa, and couldn't get a resident visa in Germany. Denied. Go home.

Some counties you can buy your way in. Like Cyprus. If you have $100,000EUD you can buy yourself citizenship. At least that is what I am told.
