IMHO the Real ID law will NEVER be enforced.
Do you honestly believe that the courts are going to let tens of millions of people who lack the documentation to get Real ID to be banned from air travel?
I don’t.
The REAL ID will be brutally enforced if you are an AMERICAN citizen.
In the long run, it will be enforced, and everyone will have one. There are other carrots and sticks they will utilize besides flying to get us in the database.
