That statement you posted was not an endorsement of tariffs or protectionism in any way. Rush was an anti “Trumpist” during most of 2016 when we really needed him. He is now pretending to have been pro Trump all along. Rush is Free Traitor™, it’s in his DNA. He is stuck in the 1980’s.
Never said that. What I said it that Rush is not a globalist. He and Hannity have done more to fight against the Liberals and support Trump in his actions than any other persons. Since you don’t like Rush, nothing will change your mind.
Back to the original statement. Congress can not override the tariffs unless they pass a bill to change the power of the presidency. That will not have a chance of passing. So in essence, Congress can do nothing to stop the tariffs except to support China and Mexico and de-rail the talks.
