BTW, I’m seeing a figure of about 270-290 Billion a year. That’s based on the following article which makes reference to 2016. I haven’t found more current figures.

If that figure is accurate, we’d be taking in about 1 Billion a month at 5%, 2 Billion a month at 10%, etc.

As a comparison $2B is 12 hours of DEFICIT spending. It’s not that much money. Insignificant.
