consensus

"Let's be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus.
Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant.
What is relevant is reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus." -- Michael Crichton

You’re right about “consensus”, but can’t we put a dent in their constant refrain that scientific consensus says global warming is real and it is man caused? I’d like to assemble our own experts to counter the BS, or has someone tried that? Possibly the guys on our side are too afraid of professional suicide to speak up.

I saw an interview with a famous palentologist oince where he confessed that there are so many gaps and inconsistencies in the so-called theory of evolution, that it is a joke and unreliable. But no one would ever seriously proclaim it.
