Getting the Word Out on our Failed Ruling Class

I finally got to watch 56-Up, the latest in the Brit Up Series that has followed the lives of 14 Brits born in 1956, starting with Seven Up broadcast on ITV in 1964.

The cunning plan of the lefties at Granada TV was to pitch three seven-year-old sweetie-pie working-class lasses against three insufferable upper-class boy snobs, one of whom allowed as how he read the Financial Times. But the whole thing fell apart in later episodes as the working-class girls descended into welfare-state hell and the toffs grew up to be model citizens: Baldrick’s Cunning Plan strikes again.

Could it be that the meaning of life, the universe and everything has nothing to do with mechanical things like the NHS or union jobs or government schools? Ya think?

We know who is to blame. It’s the educated ruling class -- media, the universities, the intellectual, the activists -- that invented and implemented the welfare state, and have acquired power and fame doing it. But how to tell the people?

I found out the answer, from Voltaire’s Bastards by John Ralston Saul. The book is a hot snarky mess, except the chapter on “The Faithful Witness” and the rise of the novel. It was the Voltaires, the Swifts, Dickens, the Balzacs and Zolas that told the last lot where to go, and they succeeded in spite of the power of the ruling class of the time, which threw everything it had at them: jail, exile, you name it.

The writers got the word through to the people, because they told a compelling story.

>> but how to tell the people

Comcast owns and controls significant amounts of both infrastructure and the news message.

ATT owns significant infrastructure and now CNN.

Disney has licensed control of the airwaves and controls the news message.

There... said it.

Who remembers the little boy Alfie Evans?

The lesson here is that socialized medicine has quite limited resources to help you get well, but unlimited law enforcement resources to make sure you don't leave the hospital alive.

That was a horrific situation. Always surprised there’s no retaliation.

Let's not forget the first baby boy taken hostage by a hospital and publicly given the death penalty by NHS:

Charlie Gard

In both baby boy's stories the parents had raised their own money , had their own resources -baby Charlie had doctors in the U.S. wanting to treat him, and baby Alfie had a medical helicopter near his town, waiting to take him to a hospital in Italy, that wanted to care for him.

But instead the whole world witnessed a horror show of both babies being slowly and cruelly murdered by neglect while their traumatized parents begged and pleaded with the elitists to let their babies go, let them live.

But no, the babies slowly suffocated to death while their parents were forced to helplessly watch.

As I recall both sets of parents were threatened with their babies dying alone- if they didn't shut up, the elites were not going to "allow" them to be present at their baby's executions.

Hard to imagine so called "healthcare" professionals walking by these babies gasping for air and doing nothing.

Then there's the sickening spectacle of police officers threatening and blocking parents trying to save their fragile little children.

Then again this is socialized i.e. the politicians own you and will decide if you or your children will live or die. (The politicians are exempt from this deathcare of course.)

Thanks for the additional education because it illustrates so much how the failed ruling class thinks. May the blood of little Charlie and Alfie cry out and bear witness against them on the judgement day.
