From his experience as an American Muslim, plaintiff reasonably believes that disclosure of the flag and notes will lead to harassment and discrimination against Muslims, falsely link the events to terrorist groups, and quite possibly even incite violent hate crimes, the court filing says.
So your Muslim son trying to kill infidels meaning innocent Americans is not a hate crime?

Keep trying to hide what the Koran commands. The Leftist media will do their part to help bury the truth.

“Mohammad planned to zip-tie other students to desks and smear petroleum jelly on the floor, which he apparently believed would cause responding officers to slip and fall, according to authorities.
“He planned to take a gun from a fallen officer and shoot people inside student housing, investigators said.
The plan quickly fell apart when students fought back.”

“falsely link the events to terrorist groups”
Since the flag in question can only be the Islamic State flag, it wouldn’t exactly be a false link, would it?

"But the family said it has never been allowed to see the note, nor any of the reports compiled by police, prosecutors, the Merced County Sheriffs Office or the FBI." -from related 2016 article about the "manifesto" FBI wouldn't share their report with the family.

The document argues the release of those records [...] offers few benefits to the public interest.Opposite - knowing the contents would be of great service to the public interest.
At the same time, I would like to say, please, dont make any judgment about Faisal. He spent his entire life to be a good citizen and a good son to the family. Unfortunately, he is not able to defend himself.
Since he was a good citizen, surely his manifesto would serve in his defense - so why oppose its release?
