He’s under indictment in NY for state crimes not federal. He’ll be a t Rikers until his NY case is settled. Unfortunately Trump can’t pardon him for state crimes. His best bet is to get an acquittal on the NY crimes. Hopefully, he gets a good attorney. The whole thing is a miscarriage of justice,

Since the whole spying episode the deep dive into Manafort’s privacy is falling apart at the seams now -— at what point exactly does Manafort’s investigation-trial-incarceration become “fruit of the poison tree”???

I think Manafort is the only guy who has not sent me an email asking for money.

Leave the poor guy ALONE.

Remember how Mueller & his minions got rid of the inconvenient Whitey Bulger?

This is the same thing, but even worse, since Manafort is at the very worst, a white collar criminal.

I predict he will be dead by the end of the week, if this transfer takes place.

Maybe this is just the excuse Trump needs to pardon Manafort.

He should change his affiliation to Democrat. De Blasio will then unwittingly release him from jail.

Why don’t they send him to where they had Whitey Bulger executed?

Our government is out of control.

so, manafort is convicted in ny state jurisdiction on charges related to his federal jurisdiction conviction.

this is double jepoardy and a violation of manaforts rights.

putting manafort in rikers puts manafort at risk of more injury or death. so the long view is that manafort is being squeezed in order to force him to turn against trump.

also pelosi reputedly states that she wants trump in prison. she allegedly stated this on tuesday, the same day manafort is moved to rikers. all the democratic insiders know exactly what is going on with manafort, guaranteed. so imho pelosi is probably dog whistling a message to the democratic true believers.

in order to put trump in prison he has to be indicted as a civilian, so pelosi is talking about an impeachment trial and conviction of trump and then a criminal trial.

apparently her pathway to this scenario is through torturing trump’s former campaign manager manafort at rikers.

no doubt she has a similar plan for pence.

pelosi is in theory third in line of succession.

were i trump i would be give some serious consideration towards surrounding rikers with federal troops until they give up manafort. this is a political lynching, not justice.

we live in interesting times.
