Yes, yes, yes and a lower court judge has the authority to just make the determination that a higher court’s order is unlawful. Sorry but that isn’t how it works in this Country. How about he doesn’t like the legislature’s mandatory sentencing guidelines? Ahhhhh screw it! I’ll do what I want because I’m the arbitrator and decision point on what is unlawful and what isn’t! Don’t like what the law on what penalties are imposed by a DUI? Ahhhh screw it I’m a higher being and I say the DUI perp goes free.

He doesn’t like a ruling? Well there’s a process for that and that is appeal; not activism in a court of law. But what does it matter because in the end he was wrong and lost his job as a result.

You seem to think that Courts have authority over everything. Did you ever read “So Help Me God”, Roy Moore’s book? If not, you haven’t a clue of what you are talking about, because he explains it very well. It isn’t any surprise that Alabama put him right back at chief Justice.

The federal Courts have NO authority over marriage for example. NONE. And they don’t get to invent their own authority.

Your mentality is part of the reason we are in such deep trouble in this country, morally.

I assume you are not a Christian.
