"hypothesizing that Limbaugh’s recent commentary about the absence of proof that Russian intelligence agents “hacked” the DNC servers emanated from Limbaugh’s either having listened to “Freedom Friday” or that “people in Washington are now talking about it.”

Talk about self centered. I've never heard of this website or podcast until today and I've read articles about the evidence against Russian hacking (e.g. the date stamp and download times) for about two years now. In fact I was talking about the date stamp issue with a friend a couple weeks ago, so Rush must have been eavesdropping on us I guess.

This has zilch to do with Limbaugh. This is just a question of what is known.

The DNC said their server was hacked.
A private firm hired by the DNC said that the hackers appeared to have traces of Russian and Romanian origin.
(at this time we now know that an NSA program that can spoof the origin of a hack had been stolen)

The DNC did not report the hack as a crime. They did not let FBI do forensic analysis on the server.

So as far as I am concerned, this is just an allegation without evidence. There are other information out there - things like Russian templates being re-used, time stamps, speed of transfer etc that others suggest to be evidence that at least as far as the wikileaks content goes it was not a hack but an inside leak.

Assange said his source was not a state actor, but that doesn’t mean his source didn’t obtain it from a state actor. It’s just a little more reason to suspect the claims.

It is worrisome that “17 Intel Agencies” (which wasn’t 17 agencies) and even Mueller all assert matter of factly that it was hacked when they provide no independent evidence of that statement.
