Don’t tell this to Apple.
I was in one of their mall stores yesterday and it was elbow to elbow. Well over 100 people in a store that’s not that big. I would guess there were at least 15 Apple sales people on the floor and you still had to queue up and wait to talk to one of them.
I bet many of them were there for Support.
I think The Apple Store is an exception.
Retailers in malls need to provide value, and a store like Apple is often very busy because...they provide value in going to the store.
Most retailers simply don’t.
I’m sitting in an Apple Store as I write this waiting for a replacement of a replacement.
This place is nothing more than hipster people telling you you’re an idiot. It’s like the old SNL tech support skit... MOVE!
I love how they tell me my reduced battery life is connected to something in their own software. Um, no.... it’s the battery, it’s old.
