For women. Other than wanting to be treated like luggage, I can’t think of another reason.
The men are in control. Maybe women actually like this? I mean, patriarchy has worked for the vast majority of human history. It's only been the last couple of generations where we've been led to believe that what women want are pussified, emasculated beta men handing over to them seats at the corporate boardroom.
