No, yours is an opinion, mine is a historical fact. During the cattle boom years, huge swaths of US soil were either owned outright or controlled by foreigners. That period of history showed no loss of "sovereignty" as a result. In fact, we gained a large number of well-educated citizens as a result.
Why would "now" be any different than "then"?
