Ohhhhh...nooooooooh! The USA is no more or less sovereign based on ownership of farmland.
But Wait, last I heard we were running out of farmland. A few generations ago we where running out of golf courses because the Japan were buying them all, then it was the Russian were buying all the expensive condos. I think India was o the verge of owning all of our steel mills.
Anyone concerned about this can step in and buy all the farmland they want. Ditto for oil and gas wells, steel mills,...
But then putting up is harder then being a concerned one.
