Chicago Police on Thursday released a trove of partially redacted documents outlining the Jussie Smollett case from start to finish — providing the fullest look yet at the alleged hoax and cops’ attempts to unravel it.
The documents, which include hundreds of pages of arrest reports, intake records and supplementary detective logs, were held under seal since prosecutors’ shock decision to drop charges against Smollett and close the case — but a judge ordered them released May 23 following a legal challenge from various media organizations.
Smollett claimed in January that he was attacked by hate-spewing white men who doused him in bleach and threw a rope around his neck in the middle of the night on a desolate Chicago street — in what police later revealed was a hoax orchestrated to increase his celebrity profile.

They said the released records were "partially redacted." If there was anything about the behind the scenes movers, I'd assume it was held back in the redactions.
Now if only the New York cops would release the trove of Hillary Clinton case files they claim that they were holding.

According to a report I heard, earlier....the Chicago Police are sick and tired of cases not being properly charged....most charges are dropped.
