The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports the Coral Springs Humane Society took the snake to a veterinarian's office. It was being treated for a scale infection.That reminds me of the headline:

Watched the Discovery Channel’s new program “Guardians of the Glades” last night. Dusty Crum is a snake hunter. First saw him on “Swamp People.” This was the first episode of the show, and they were out hunting female pythons...not just capturing them, but killing them so they can’t reproduce.
