The core of a new party is already there in my opinion.

It certainly is. No matter what it's called.. Conservatives, Independents and Democrats who voted for President Trump are that new party.

I also think that a lot of voters are sick and tired of the establishment (witness the recent voting results in Europe). Add to that the pervasive Deep State corruption, which will become increasingly evident in the coming months. So the core is growing and would be ripe for being a foundation for a new party.
