SUNLAND PARK, New Mexico - The City of Sunland Park announced Tuesday the construction of a privately-funded border barrier on private property over Memorial Day weekend is not in compliance with City ordinance.
The City has issued a cease and desist order. "At this point, it will be turned over to the courts for follow-up on the matter," said Sunland Park Mayor Javier Perea.

If I were Trump, my response at this point would be to take this land away from control of New Mexico and declare it federal land important to national security - and use eminent domain. This is war.
Wasn’t it the NM governor who recently begged Trump for federal help in dealing with all the illegals rushing into NM?
It was built on private property. They’ve served a cease and desist to the owner.
The Left will judge shop and find a Leftist who will rule in their favor and that will be that.

yep...but from what I’ve read, she wants help with building centers/housing,medical care, et al. for the illegals, not help in ‘stopping’ the flow.

Was it built within the Roosevelt Reservation? If so, it’s not a city matter.
