Missouri's last abortion clinic says it may lose its license this week

By Kate Smith

Updated on: May 28, 2019 / 1:34 PM / CBS News

St. Louis, Missouri — The last remaining abortion clinic in Missouri says it expects to be shut down this week, effectively ending legal abortion in the state.

In a statement Tuesday, Planned Parenthood said Missouri's health department is "refusing to renew" its annual license to provide abortion in the state. If the license is not renewed by May 31, Missouri would become the first state without a functioning abortion clinic since 1973 when Roe v. Wade was decided.

Planned Parenthood filed a lawsuit requesting a restraining order against the state, hoping to restore the license and avoid service disruption. A circuit court judge will hear arguments on Wednesday.

...

This is a real public health crisis," said Dr. Leana Wen, president and CEO of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

CBS lies in such cunning ways: abortion to save a woman’s life was legal in all states prior to Roe in 1973. Roe did not make abortion legal, it just promoted the dead soul demon rat rites/sacraments of slaughtering an alive unborn child for the empowerment of evil people.

Add to that the fact that SCOTUS has ruled that Indiana can require that the remains of murdered babies must be buried or cremated.

Interesting...very interesting!

Hahahaha. Babies everywhere rejoice. These murderers of babies, dissectors of babies they murdered and sellers of parts of the dead babies they killed are ghouls awash in blood of the innocent.

"When I say an unnecessary pelvic exam what I mean is that the state is forcing me to put my fingers in somebody's vagina when it is totally medically irrelevant," McNicholas said. "That is really bordering on harassment... I am really proud of our clinicians for taking a stand and saying you know we just won't do that to patients."

Oh, those filthy, despicable swine. No problem sticking crushing, shredding, slicing and dismembering tools up a woman's vagina, no: but a pelvic exam just to confirm the women is actually pregnant, double-check what stage she's at, and make sure she doesn't have any disease conditionsbefore administering a powerfully disruptive abortion drug?

"Oh, no" (fluttering eyelashes)," we're too principled to do such a thing!"

The purpose of the pelvic exam is to make sure the woman doesn't have a vaginal infection, such as yeast or bacterial vaginosis, nor undetected STD's, which could get worse if the women then goes through an induced miscarriage (which is exactly what a "pill abortion" is) which creates conditions for the exacerbation of the disease.

The truth is that, according to the state, Missouri doctors performed 359 pill abortions in 2018, down from at least 982 pill abortions the year before. The difference was, in 2017 the pelvic exam was not required, but in 2018 it was. Women were going over to Illinois to avoid the extra hassle of a pelvic exam.

In other words, they were losing customers.

Can't allow that!!

The swine. They are just beneath contempt.

SB 25 just passed the ILLINOIS HOUSE 54-40, with 4 abstaining.

PRAY for GOD’S intervention to keep this evil bill from becoming law. Pro-life ILLINOISIANS are praying earnestly for a break through.

Just arrived in MO a few months ago. There is a huge pp clinic in Springfield. Does this mean they aren’t performing abortions? I am unsure. The incredibly high security fence around it seems to scream otherwise.
Hope i am wrong.
