Agreed. I always believed that the hippies of the sixties would have not survived in the cold cruel world if it were not for what was created for them and provided by the very people that they were protesting.
Those 60s hippies were a hundred times more resilient than 20-somethings today are. They were living on communes growing their own food, fishing and hunting game, using power tools to build stuff, and repairing their Volkswagens.
