For those of us of a certain age who were brought up in non-religious or nominally religious homes, abortion was, when we were young, something no one spoke about.
*snip*
By the time we reached adulthood, we were "pro-choice" because that was the thing to be. Wasn't everyone pro-choice? What did that mean? It meant ending an unwanted pregnancy the moment it was realized. No one then ever considered the possibility or option of waiting many months to make such a decision. It never entered anyone's mind that what are now called late-term abortions were even possible.
*snip*
Fast-forward a generation. Now those of us who always thought of ourselves as pro-choice and never knew that second- and third-trimester abortions occurred are, if fortunate, invited to our daughters' visits (and those of our daughters-in-law) to their OBs when pregnant. Suddenly, like magic, we are able to see our grandchildren on a black and white screen in real time, blurry but actual. We see the tiny heart beating from almost moment one. As the pregnancy advances, we see the fetus grow, move about, constantly change positions to get comfortable. By the early 2000s, pregnant women could get a fetal video set to music of their growing baby. This had to be done by about fourteen weeks, when the fetus was still small enough to be captured in his entirety on film. We could watch the baby comfortably move about his fetal environment with what seemed like a distinct personality. This entire process is even more enlightening with a set of twins; they cuddle, hold hands, and push each other about in their fight for space.
In short, from the first ultrasound, everything changed for us life-long pro-choicers.

There is absolutely no doubt that the baby in the womb is no different from the born baby. Exiting from the womb does not change a mass of cells into a human. Abortion kills a baby.
Politicians know that and willingly vote to extend the “right” to kill babies so they will keep getting feminazi votes and contributions.
Ultrasound helps, but only a percentage. Most of the left really really want those babies dead, and visuals aren’t going to stop them. Whether for money or climate change or just lust for power, they want death.
They hate life. That is the only conclusion one can draw.
God bless her!
30+ years ago I attended my first Prolife Rally at my Pastors request.......I was totally uninformed and not really aware/interested.....but I went because he wanted me to represent our church
What I saw and heard broke my heart and I never turned back.
What I expected were a bunch of wild eyed, unruly mob types ( as portrayed in the media)
What I experienced was a large number of loving, gentle, informed folks who simply wanted to educate the public about abortion vs Life
We decided to protest as a family.......praying in front of an abortion clinic in our town,
The fruits of this labor is our teen granddaughters unending devotion that her grandparents and mom cared enough to try to effect change.....and protect the unborn
Your children....grandchildren are watching you......watch what you say.....and do.
Not so.......in the small mountain town where we have a home, the Crisis Pregnancys new ultrasound is making a huge difference!!!
Had an interesting email correspondence with an early leader of the abortion movement a couple of years ago. She admitted they have always known they were killing an unborn baby, but they considered the mother more important. She said the fetal tissue stuff was just to make it easier for women to accept what they were doing. She also told me she was kicked out of the club because she commented at a national meeting that the push for unrestricted abortion was causing the movement to lose people. Her contention was very similar to this article, that ultrasound, especially the 4D was a game changer because it blew up the whole fetal tissue argument. Very interesting 6 month conversation. She was very open and honest without the media filter.
Why are US couples adopting from foreign countries?
Certainly the stigma of unwed pregnancy in the US is long past.
Why isnt the adoption vs abortion process more attractive?
It just seems that paying for live babies is far more moral than
Paying for dead baby parts.
Excerpt from SFGate
A number of years back, one of my colleagues brought in a VCR of her ultrasound - when the tech took it, they happened to catch the baby in what looked like mid-yawn, stretching out her little body and tiny arms as she swung her head around.
It has to take a special brand of monster to make a living dismembering something like that on a daily basis.
The children of unwed mothers from the late1980s are now having children.
Will change everything, hopefully.
ALL of them (including you and me).
