The eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines released more green house gasses in one eruption than the whole industrial revolution. The Pinatubo eruption released about 40 Mt of CO2, which is about a half day's worth of manmade CO2. Sometimes people add the water vapor, but that wasn't much more and is transient.
