The Houston Police Department has wrapped up its investigation into a deadly January drug bust and turned a final report over to the Harris County District Attorney's office, authorities said Wednesday. The development moves the case one step closer to possible criminal charges against one or more of the officers involved in the bungled raid, which left a Pecan Park couple dead and blossomed into a broader scandal amid questions about the narcotics team's handling of the bust.
The Houston Police Department has completed the criminal investigation and the officer-involved shooting investigation regarding the incident at 7815 Harding Street on January 28, 2019," Chief Art Acevedo said in a statement Wednesday afternoon. "Today, each of these separate investigations have been turned in to the Harris County District Attorney's Office."

State police have determined no guns except police were fired contrary to eyewitness narc statements claiming they were shot by this couple
Police union boss actually publicly threatened folks in the press and bloggers over this
This particular no knock narc swat wannabe crew which was heavily minority laden and thug like themselves had a history of this misbehavior and hints of corruption and was overlooked by the department
Justice can be thanked by the media especially a writer at Reason.com and Washington Post who I know we loathe but this writer was diligent and accurate And to the Harris County attorney so far
Just plain assed murder
Go back and look at Freepers dancing on their graves high fiving
Look how NYT smeared the dead victims and their poor dog...
Houston police chief is a damned liar
The black killer narcs got retirement with pay in their 40s

Makes you wish for Regulators
“No reasonable prosecutor....”

That hasn’t aged well at all.
>>police officials have dramatically curtailed the use of no-knock raids, promised to equip raid teams with body cameras,
It amazes me a major metro police force doesnt have body cams. Our force has had them for at least half a dozen years. They protect our officers from lying scum and provide much evidence in court.
And who requested the warrant?
Based on what?
All BS on top of BS, just like the FISA court.
Just plain assed murder

I agree 100%. And, when this first happened, most FReepers who posted on it did NOT believe the initial governmental explanations. FReepers and many others have, over the years, have developed finely-tuned BS detection abilities.
I'm pretty sure it's not in the Ten Commandments, in fact one of the commandments commands to NOT MURDER.
I thought the Tuttle’s 357 was found with used shells.
The Chief did not have all the facts and the first thing he does is go for his agenda!
Chief, there is a reason for Houstonians to be armed and it's called Art Acevedo!
Arthur the Asshole needs to be fired.
Back when he was chief of Austin PD, he made one statement that could be interpreted as implicitly encouraging swat calls.
1. That is not proof that the used shells were fired on the day of the raid.
2. That is not even proof that Tuttle fired the gun.
3. I would not trust any evidence which had been in the possession of the police department.
Good to hear they are following this up. Initial reports sure smelled like another swat execution to me.
There was an evidence report posted back when. I listed no firearms.
Yes, however a .357 with spent shells has shown up in the investigative reports. I don't know if the citizen's hands were tested for gunpowder residue.
Google it .....I dont make unverified claims and I often actually read at least part of the article.....its a bad habit

Oh for goodness sake. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Your logic in the matter is ridiculous.
Here:
I think the police effectively murdered this couple, but your ravings are nonsensical.
