The Zune wasn’t so much a failure, it was just a victim of the massive success and ubiquity of the iPod.
I’d put the failure of the numerous Windows CE-based devices that I wasted money on that lost the battle with Palm OS.
The zune should have taught MS a lesson but nope they still built the windows phone..
