I wouldn't call myself "know-it-all".
Now "know-it-most?"?
No congressman has been indicted or charged with a crime yet to be arrested for now have they?
And here's where you make your mistake in logic.
Just because something HASN'T happened, doesn't mean it's NOT GOING to happen.
example (for demonstration purposes):
You: The sun hasn't come up, therefore it will never come up.
Me: The sun hasn't come up , yet I believe that it will.
See the diff?
I DID NOT SAY it hasn't happened so therefore it will never happen.
I clearly state it hasn't happened YET.
Anybody can leave out words or put in additional words in order to change the meaning of the sentence, like you did.
"Believing" that these political crooks will be charged and arrested for crimes may also mean that they never will be. Your point goes both ways.
Until I read about some congress critter like Feinstein or Schiff indicted and arrested for crimes, I stand by my original statement that "No congressman has been indicted or charged with a crime YET to be arrested for now have they?
