Doctors at a San Diego-area clinic suspected Genoveva Angeles might have cancer, but they could not say for sure because they did not have the equipment to test for it and Angeles, who had been in the country illegally for 20 years, could not afford to see a specialist and did not qualify for state assistance because of her immigration status.

Looks like WE HAVE A PLAN. We will get the word out. I remember when in the small town of BOGUE, Kansas we had Viet Name Refugees working hard to keep a local cheese plant open. They got calls from cousins, uncles and Aunts..that Mr. Welfare in California was giving refugees $200 a month, paying their rent, and doing free health care. They moved to California, the benefits were far better.

Forget illegals. This story may as well describe many citizens. Many people do not have the insurance for sophisticated tests. I suspect the story is fabricated, anyway.

Reminds me of Joe Wilson yelling “you lie” at Obama, who denied Democrats want to fund illegals’ health care costs with American citizens’ taxpayer dollars.

The irony is the middle class Americans are going to Mexico to get affordable treatments for their diseases! So we have Americans needing to travel to Mexico for affordable care, while Mexican illegals receive the best of US health care for free.
California doesn’t have any money.
Let them do it. Cut off all Federal Funds. Let the cost fall on the shoulders of the leftist peckerwoods that voted for this. And prevent them from flrring the state until they pay up.

Most Americans going to Mexico are desperate for treatment when there is no cure - a la Steve McQueen. They also go for cheaper drugs, but often they are no good. But sure the illegals get free med care here when we pay through the nose. Trump’s idea that Immigrants have some more than the clothes on their backs is a good one.
Once you break in as an illegal alien, there is no way to become a citizen.
Citizenship only comes after 5 years as a permanent resident alien (green card) that must be applied for in their home country.
That’s why Bush League Republicans like Rubio and Graham push so hard for amnesty.
In addition to their new health plan for illegal immigrants, California seeks to improve their Government-provided meal plan to include well-paired wines, and provide daily massages.
Using this ‘scenario’....couldn’t I go without healthcare (paying nothing out), and if I had a major issue....go fly into California, put on some migrant clothing, pretend to be from some mysterious unknown country (with a fake accent) and just ask for four-star healthcare compliments of the state?
