Charles' tea party summit with Trump: Prince of Wales and Camilla will host the US President at Clarence House during his official state visit next month in unexpected meeting.
Prince Charles will host Donald Trump for tea during the US President’s state visit to Britain next month. The unexpected meeting will take place at Clarence House, the heir to the throne’s official residence in London.
It will come on the same day as the Queen’s official state banquet for Mr Trump, which Charles will also attend. The prince did not meet the President on his working visit to Britain last year, which included a meeting with the Queen at Windsor Castle amid massive protests in the capital.
Reports at the time suggested Charles and his sons William and Harry had refused to have anything to do with the arrangements, which was seen as a snub by the Americans.
Charles and his wife Camilla, will join Mr Trump at their official residence Clarence House... There were also claims – strongly denied – that a future state visit was in jeopardy because Mr Trump feared being lectured by Charles over issues such as climate change.
In a sign of the prince’s growing role in the light of the Queen’s advanced age – she is 93 – it will be the first time he has hosted a US president in a personal capacity.
It also suggests that Charles has put his personal feelings aside in the interests of the country, as he promised he would in a BBC interview to celebrate his 70th birthday last year. Clarence House last night declined to comment but it has emerged that Charles will be playing a ‘full and prominent’ role in Mr Trump’s high-profile, three-day visit, which starts on June 3.[clip]

No one will be impolite enough to use the word ‘handover’, but this tea-time summit next month between the US President and the heir to the throne will come to be seen as a defining moment in Charles’s preparation for kingship.

Vowing not to be a ‘meddling monarch’, Charles has said he would not continue his campaigning on issues such as the environment, architecture and homeopathy when he accedes to the throne, insisting: ‘I’m not that stupid.’
He added: ‘I do realise it is a separate exercise being sovereign. So of course I understand entirely how that should operate. I’ve tried to make sure whatever I’ve done has been non-party political, but it’s vital to remember there’s only room for one sovereign at a time, not two.’

I just wish he’d cancel this state visit. Between the hordes of SJWs behaving abominably and the attempt to overthrow his presidency by their government, he should punish them by staying home.
I was there during W’s state visit and it was so ugly in London I had to get off the street and back to my hotel.
I get a tickle out of that: He is finally being prepped for his ‘formal royal duties’ at AGE 70.
In the earlier times of the monarchy when they yielded sovereign power, Liz would have been ‘offed’ fifty years ago and the Brits would have been Stuck with Chuck!
And then, after Chuck effing everything up Royally for decades, he would have high-tailed it out of there before they offed him.
In a sane world, Trump would be meeting with a King Wills and his lovely Duchess Kate.

The American People--ALL honest people--see this for exactly what it is: An insult to President and the First Lady of the United States! An insult to the American People! And insult to the United States! A hate-filled statement by Harry and Meghan--which the American People will not forget!
Harry and Meghan and the rest of them are playing with fire if they continue to insult President Trump and the American People.

So she moved to the UK instead--with Harry's support!
The American People have not forgotten the images of Harry schmoozing with Barack Obama and his intention to invite Obama to his wedding and to snub President Trump.
And all this after:
President Trump had praised the British Royal Family and recalled his mother's profound affection for them,
And President Trump had restored to the Oval Office of the White House the bust of Sir Winston Churchill, which Obama had had removed!
Such insults to the American People, to the USA, and to President Trump have NOT gone unnoticed!
He will be older then Edward VII when he takes the throne.
I was in London during that visit. It was nothing like the newsmedia reported--and obviously continues to report. I saw the "massive protests" and the anti-Trump balloon: there were more people across the street waiting in line for Westminster Abbey. The traffic was stalled in the immediate vicinity of Parliament Square, but in the rest of London, hardly anyone even noticed.
Compared to Theresa May, Britain’s bumbling, incompetent prime minister, Prince Charles can appear to be as statesmanlike as Winston Churchill if he sticks to a well-prepared script during his meeting with Donald Trump.
Trump fears nothing.
And certainly not a ‘racial anti-semite’ lecture from Harry or any of the Windsors since it was Bonnie- Prince Harry Windsor sporting that Nazi uniform at some posh socialite London party. Everyone know it is so kewl for those of German heritage, like the Windsors, to honor their roots and dress in the full-Nazi regalia of the Third Reich as a German Nazi SS officer.
Funny how no one recalls any of the Trump children- Don Jr, Eric, or Barron attending parties in New York mocking the Holocaust or supporting Jew-hating Nazi’s.
Yet the preachy accusatory Megan-Markle-Mouth (barf) claims President Trump must be the bad guy- the prejudicial one.
And her boring wedding dress looks like it came from a 1965 Sears Catalogue... Nothing royal about it at all, just like her.

If all goes well, Charles will choke or stroke out and we will be looking at a young King Wills and his lovely Princess Katherine.
