Gowdy as the chairman of the Benghazi investigative Congressional committee had the obligation:
<><> to investigate,
<><> to cut through the evasions and political cover ups,
<><> to find out just why the cross border order was never issued.

Gowdy failed miserably in his sworn duty to the American people, to those four Americans that died......and to those that sacrificed and are always willing to sacrifice.

It's just galling that Gowdy knew all this.......knew what he was spposed to do....but chucked it all to suckup to Hillary.

He couldnt leave Congress fast enough for me.

In a generalized, large picture look at this...

The 6th Fleet / In extremis forces received communications that the Benghazi consulate was under attack.

Did the commander(s) report that to their superiors? If not, why not? If they did, who did they report it to?

Who did that person/people report it to? Etc.

Somebody, somewhere along the chain of command made it clear to the larger forces in the area not to help.

Who was that?

What was their response back, if anything?

If they didn't respond back, why didn't they respond back?

If they did respond, what was the exact reasoning back to those forces in the area to not assist?

Obviously Soebarkah couldn't be bothered to order the help.

So who, exactly, was the weak link prior to that and what order(s), if any, did they give?

We should have the DOJ go back to court to drop the charges against Papadopoulos. And Flynn.

Can’t imagine that during those desperate hours senior military officers weren’t clamoring for a response. Gowdy failed miserably in hid duty to the American people and those that sacrificed and are always willing to sacrifice.

It’s likely Gowy was told the military brass was going to fall on their swords for the magic kenyan. He didn’t want to put them in that position and never looked under that rock. Given how disloyally some of the military brass have behaved under Trump I don’t think they deserved that courtesy.

They were both victims of FBI crimes. No way in a million years should they be convicted of process crimes that resulted from the FBI illegally targeting them.

You are nitpicking in defense of Gowdy.

No, I'm recognizing reality. Liking or disliking Gowdy doesn't affect reality. At least for some of us.

Their distress calls would have been received simultaneously in every CentCom situation room around the globe. There's one in the WH, one at the State Dept., one in the Pentagon and undoubtedly in several other DC agency headquarters as well.

A lot of that was covered in one of the first media releases from the State Dept. at the time.

Reality is the GOP was Obama’s doormat for 8 years. Reality is we gave the GOP Congress and the White House for two years. Then Paul Ryan and the likes of Gowdy undermined POTUS and the MAGA agenda we elected them to support while throwing the House to the Democrats.

Now we get Gowdy yapping to no consequence. What matters is what he did while in office. And that was nothing, unfortunately.

I didn’t say that all of the info it contained was correct or accurate. Some of it is and people with any sense of reality can see which is which. To people who live by a cult of personality in all things, like you, it won’t make any sense at all.

I totally agree. Totally. Gowdy is always “brave” when their is no risk to himself. He cucked out on getting to the bottom of Fast and Furious and Benghazi. The result was the deep state coup plot against Trump, since the Obama circle felt they had nothing to fear from Congress, and the MSM was in their pocket.

Roger that. Worth repeating too. I suspect we will soon hear a lot more from Trey Gowdy. It is my hope to see him finally sit in Judgement over the traitors. May his next job be at GTMO.

Yes, we have had our fair share of the impatient ones coming over here, too. But for the most part everyone here is learning so much more than we would have without this forum. Many long time FReepers have come around and have joined in the research too. It's like old times again, but better! Best election of a lifetime.

Thanks again to the Boss, Jim Robinson. WWG1WGA. MAGA.

According to everything I posted as reference material, yes, if they are stationed outside the borders of the country in question. If they’re stationed inside the borders then, no.

I'm not saying that didn't happen but doing a search on that, in several configurations, I could find nothing. Nothing specific to Feb. 12, 2012 in Libya at all.
