No idea, must have come from central casting as likely did the Uhura guy...who was extremely funny!

Carol was BIG on giving unknowns a leg up...a really nice person!

SCTV’s Andrea Martin

The funny (ironic) thing about that skit is how well it’s both produced and acted. The set is first-rate. Head and shoulders above another parody that ever made it to broadcast TV. And Burnett and Martin were a great Kirk and Spock!
